About Us
Meet the passionate team behind Hands On Osteo Tauranga—your partners in feeling great and moving freely.

Meet Jane – Founder of Hands On Osteopathy
Jane has 20 years experience as a qualified Osteopath having graduated from London’s British College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2005. She spent four years developing her osteopathic knowledge and experience at clinics in London before relocating to New Zealand in 2009.
In 2011, after gaining valuable experience in local practices, Jane established her own clinic—Hands On Osteopathy—right here in the heart of Tauranga.
Since then, she’s proudly served the local community with a hands-on, personalised approach to osteopathic care. She is fully registered with the Osteopathic Council of New Zealand, an ACC-approved provider, and an Affiliated Provider for Southern Cross Health Insurance.
Movement, Music, and the Outdoors
Jane enjoys playing the Tuba and gardening in her spare time, and her adventurous spirit takes her outdoors. Her involvement with brass bands and orchestra for more than 30 years has provided a deep understanding of the importance of sound-functioning biomechanics – in particular, jaw function, good posture and optimal breathing.
She is an avid swimmer, mountain biker, and trail runner. This passion for adventure in New Zealand’s great outdoors also complements her osteopathy care, with an appreciation of people’s ability to move freely and do what they love.
At Hands On Osteopathy, you’ll find a caring, experienced practitioner dedicated to helping you move and feel your best.
